WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE PRIVATE FULL DAY EXCURSION ON ETNA:
This Etna tour is suitable for the whole family, including children aged 12 and older.
The VIP ETNA & TAORMINA private excursion includes trekking routes of easy difficulty and is a tour for those who want to discover the historical and cultural beauties of the territory.
You will have the opportunity to visit the highest active volcano in Europe, between nature and flavors, ancient craters and new flows.
Going up the slopes of the volcano you will observe the different lava fronts and the ancient flows (eruptions of 1991/93).
Choosing this excursion on Etna with departure from Catania you can admire the marvelous lunar landscapes of the Etna park and the historical center of Taormina.
Visit the Etna with our guides who will fascinate you by telling you the mysterious volcanic phenomena.
Explore the volcanic caves in complete safety accompanied constantly by our guides (helmets and torches needed for the excursion in the cave will be provided by us).
You can enjoy a tasting of typical products of Etna including honey oil and wine produced on the volcano.
You will reach Taormina, with a stop in the enchanting "Isola Bella" You will pass through the Umberto course and the narrow medieval streets of the village of Taormina with the possibility of shopping among delightful artisan shops or refined shops.
If you want you can visit the Greek Theater with a view of the Etna volcano and the Gulf of Giardini Naxos (entrance ticket NOT INCLUDED) After about two hours you will find the guide to the opposite of Corso Umberto waiting for you to return to Catania.
