1st DAY

Check In and Welcome

We meet and provide you a briefing to explain our rules, safety procedures, and use of the yachtequipment.

We discuss the navigation plan for the week and provide our recommendations to create a memorablesailing week.

Dinner ashore.

2nd DAY

Navigation from the port of embarkation to Vulcano (about 3 hours).

We will anchor for a bit of swimming, snorkeling and SUP in the Gelso bay.

After lunch, we will sail north-west (about an hour) to anchor in Porto Levante, where you can relax in mud baths and thermal waters.

In the late afternoon, we will make the easy climb to the top of the island, admiring the caldera of the main volcano (the Great Crater) off, but not completely inactive, as indicated by the numerous fumaroles. The last eruption occurred in 1890.

3rd DAY

We will move north to Lipari.

Lipari is the largest island of the Aeolian Islands, and has the best range of restaurants and shops.

The historic center is particularly charming. Lipari also offers numerous possibilities for excursions. Among the many, we suggest the one at the Terme di San Calogero and caolino quarries. It starts from the mines of kaolin, near the Tenuta di Castellaro winery (which can be visited by appointment, with the possibility of tastings).

The starting point can be reached by taxi or bus. The route winds along the sea, in the geologically most ancient area of Lipari, and allows you to touch the beautiful Cala Fico, and then the San Calogero Spa, the only example of Mycenaean architecture outside of Greece, and perhaps the oldest spa building in Mediterranean.

There is a small annexed museum area. From here you can return to the town and to the port, or, depending on weather conditions, you can also go down to the Valle Muria beach and be reached by boat, to spend the night at anchor.

Lipari offers other possibilities for excursions and the remarkable Archaeological Museum.

4th DAY

We will move from Lipari soon enough to the north-east to reach Panarea (2-3 hours), stopping briefly in one of the bays of Panarea or the nearby islands (Dattilo, Lisca Bianca, Basiluzzo)

We will not be too late, however, because we will reach Stromboli in another 2-3 hours, in time to make the excursion to the volcano.

It starts in the late afternoon to return to the night, after admiring the spectacle of the crater in activity from the top.

The rise time is 2-3 hours.

5th DAY

We will leave Stromboli and sail south-east towards Salina (about 4 hours).

We will stop in the bay of Pollara, probably the most beautiful place of the Aeolian Islands, a bay created by a submarine crater. The place was made famous by the film "Il Postino", the last work of the beloved Neapolitan actor Massimo Troisi.

Salina, also formed by two ancient volcanic cones, offers numerous possibilities for excursions. One possibility is to go down to Pollara, and make the ascent to Monte Porri in the late afternoon, then descend to Rinella where the boat has meanwhile moved.

Then we will move to the south (about 30min) to stop at the town of Salina, where you can enjoy the refined shops, restaurants, the excellent wine made on the island, and especially the extraordinary granita of Alfredo a Lingua.

6th DAY

We will sail in the morning to Filicudi (4 hours) stopping at Capo Graziano, a remarkable archaeological site, home to one of the first settlements of the islands as early as 3000 A.C.

In the afternoon, we will tour the famous rock La Canna and visit the cave of Bue Marino, before stopping at the buoy at Pecorini.

Alternatively, even here you can make interesting excursions. One possibility is to descend to Capo Graziano, and visit the archaeological site, with the remains of the Neolithic settlements, and reach the top of the Montagnola (also an ancient volcanic cone).

Whatever the activities, afterwards we can enjoy the sunset in Pecorini accompanied by a friendly and informal aperitif at a small bar near the pier.

Night at the buoy.

7th DAY

We sail back to Vulcano Island (about 4 hours) to explore the west side of the Island.

We stop on anchor in Piscina di Venere to enjoy the stunning crystal blue-turquoise water and to explore(with the tender) the Grotta del Cavallo cave.

After lunch, we sail back to our Port of Disembark.

Dinner ashore.
