New Year Etna Tour

A tour to celebrate the arrive of the new year on the highest active volcano in Europe: Etna!!!

Pick up and drop off at the collection point nearest to your accommodation.

• Sanzio ’s  square at 10.25
• Mancini Battaglia ’s  square at 10.40
• Bellavista Resturant: Alcide De Gasperi street 129 Acireale at 11.00
• Zafferana Etnea:  Roma street 218 (in the main square in front of the Bar “Donna Peppina”) at 11.45

Climbing the slopes of the volcano we will observe how, in 1991/93, an huge lava flow, overflowing from the Val Calanna, threatened the town of Zafferana. We will go on "Serra del Salifizio" observing  the famous Valle del Bove. Then  we will have an easy walk to discovery old and new craters surrounded by the pure and clear air of Etna winter, looking at the entire Ionian coast
