Special excursion to Zafferana Etnea
Full day tour for those who want to know Etna, admiring the scenery in daylight and then sample the local products at the Ottobrata Festival in Zafferana Town.

The tour begins with a leisurely easy trekking to discover old and new craters.
We visit a spectacular cave formed inside a lava flow, exploring the bowels of our volcano.
We will continue the tour in beekeeping where we stop to taste honey and oils.
We will conclude the tour with a visit to 2011 Zafferana Ottobrata festival: an important festival held in the center of Zafferana town, where you can enjoy the taste of food and wine, typical of Etna villages (such as wine, mustards, prickly pears, pomegranates, walnuts, hazelnuts, chestnuts, pistachios, mushrooms Etna) and admire ancient crafts now endangered (sculptors of wood and lava rock, painters shores of Sicilian carts, embroiderers , wrought iron, puppeteers etc.).
